Fishing Points can send you notifications before the Fish Activity forecast shows excellent fishing conditions in the coming days. All you have to do is enable push notifications and set the desired number of days in advance you want to be notified. You can also set the hour of the day you’d like to be notified.
How to enable Fish Activity notifications
- Select Fish Activity from the menu
- Tap the bell symbol
in the top-right corner of the screen
- Toggle the switch to enable Fish Activity notifications
You'll now receive the notification before the very high fish activity is predicted for your location.
Customizing your notification settings
You can personalize your Fish Activity notifications to fit your schedule:
Customize the number of days in advance:
- On the notification settings screen, adjust how many days in advance you want to be notified
- Select from the same day to 10 days before the next high fish activity (depending on how far ahead you plan your fishing trips)
Notification time:
- Choose what time of day you'd like to receive notifications
- Select a time that gives you enough advance notice to prepare for your fishing trip
Troubleshooting Notifications
If you're not receiving Fish Activity notifications:
- Check that notifications are enabled in your device settings for the Fishing Points app
- Verify that you have the latest version of the app installed
- Ensure your forecast location is correctly set in the app
