All forecast data in Fishing Points is based on your selected forecast location. If the location is not set correctly, the forecast may not match the conditions at your actual fishing spot.
Many users forget to update their location after moving to a new area, which can lead to inaccurate information. Always make sure your forecast location is set correctly.
Setting your forecast location
- Opening any forecast in your menu
- Tap the location marker symbol in the top-right corner
- Select a different location by:
- Tapping on the map
- Using the search bar
- Dragging the marker
- Clicking “Find my current location” via GPS to select a new location
- Tap the top-right button to finish
⚠️ Note: Always make sure your forecast location matches where you're actually fishing.
Can I save multiple forecast locations?
At the moment, you can only have one active forecast location at a time and can't save it as such.
However, the app automatically remembers your recent locations. You can quickly access them from the Recents list in the search bar when changing your forecast location.
