Fishing Points can automatically extract date, time, and location information from photos of your catches. If the photo contains GPS metadata, the app can detect when and where the picture was taken, helping you quickly create accurate catch logs without entering the details manually.
How to use this feature
- Open Catches in your menu
- Tap the "Add new catch" button in your bottom-right
- Tap “Add photos” below the catch name field and take or select your photos
- Tap "Select fishing location"
- Your photo should appear under Photo locations
- Select the photo you want to use
- Tap "Create new location from photo"
- Tap the top-right button to finish saving your location
- Tap the top-right button again to finish saving your catch
