Fishing Points gives you full control over how your saved Locations are marked on the map. This article explains how to edit, add your own or clear coordinates while saving a Location and how to change coordinate formats.
Editing Coordinates While Saving
While saving a Location, you can:
- Change coordinate format (Decimal / Degrees:Minutes:Seconds / Degrees:Minutes)
- Import/Paste your own coordinates (The app will try to recognise and place them)
- Clear coordinates

⚠️ Note:
- iOS: All saving methods allow coordinate customisation.
- Android: Only some methods allow coordinate customisation (see note above).
Can I change coordinates of an already saved Location?
Once a Location is saved, its coordinates cannot be changed.
Can the coordinates format be changed?
Yes, you can change the coordinate format at any time via:
Settings > Other > Coordinate format > Choose between:
- Decimal
- Degrees:Minutes:Seconds
- Degrees:Minutes
